CBD
What is CBD
Cannabidiol (CBD) is created naturally in cannabis plants, which in the case of my farm are hemp plants. Hemp plants and traditional marijuana plants are the same plant but have been breed to have completely different chemical make-ups. The two plants look exactly the same but hemp plants produce high amount of CBD and traditional marijuana plants produce high amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
Unlike THC, in traditional marijuana, CBD offers no psychoactive effects and does not make you feel “high”.

HOW DOES CBD WORK?
All cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by attaching to certain receptors.
​
The human body produces certain cannabinoids on its own. It also has two receptors for cannabinoids, called the CB1 receptors and CB2 receptors.
​
CB1 receptors are present throughout the body, but many are in the brain.
​
The CB1 receptors in the brain deal with coordination and movement, pain, emotions, and mood, thinking, appetite, and memories, and other functions.
CB2 receptors are more common in the immune system. They affect inflammation and pain.
Researchers once believed that CBD attached to these CB2 receptors, but it now appears that CBD does not attach directly to either receptor.
Instead, it seems to direct the body to use more of its own cannabinoids.
WHAT IS CBD USED FOR?
While people are reporting many, many healthy and positive results from using it, we do not have enough science for the FDA to update its status.
IS CBD LEGAL?
CBD is now legal in all 50 states and it is safe to fly with. However, the FDA has not approved CBD as either a drug or a dietary supplement.
What is CBG
Many people have heard of CBD and its health benefits but CBD is only one of the 100+ cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Cannabigerol (CBG) like CBD does not have he psychoactive effects.

What is Delta-8?
Delta 8 THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is a naturally occurring cannabinoid in Hemp. My Delta-8 is 100% derived from hemp grown by me in Minnesota and also processed by a Minnesota company.
Is Delta-8 Legal?
Through the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized Hemp on a federal level, Delta 8 is a legal derivative of hemp. This bill made all derivatives, isomers, and cannabinoids in Hemp legal provided the final product has less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC.
